So.

I’ve just gotten off my 16th flight this month alone [I think I might have to get me a new pair of eardrums after all that] to then hopped into a taxi manned by an utterly mad driver (and I’m from Cairo) to arrive to Sigtuna, a cutesy of a town a little outside of Stockholm, where the famous Tallberg – sorry, Tällberg! – Forum is held this year. Panels, workshops, discussions, high-flying speakers, youth – Tallberg’s got it all.

Tallberg is my first stop in Sweden, and here I’ll be speaking at three occasions:

Opening ceremony: “Middle East: Old Maps – New Realities” (Thursday 30 June, 15:30)

– Workshop: The Global Network Society (Friday 01 July, 16:00)

– Panel: After democratic revolutions – what next? (Saturday 2 July, 10:30)

If you’re around, stop by. Not for me, but for the amazing people I’ll be sharing the stage with!

And If you happen to attend more than one of those events, be kind enough not to point out too loud that “but you said the same thing yesterday!”. I promise I’ll do my best not do repeat myself 😉

Actually, come to the Opening ceremony. That can only be fun. Or embarrassing for me, which is still fun for you.

And if during the Opening ceremony you stand up and start singing happy birthday (because IT IS my birthday!!) I am buying you lunch. Actually, scrap that. I could just marry you. (*gender conditions apply).

Apart from that – I owe you plenty of writing for June. And photos. Will get to that soon, promise!

* It’s a terrible joke, but you’ll just have to run it through Google Translate I’m afraid… 🙂
